Interpretive Planner, Writer, Project Coordinator with Blue Rhino Design, Inc. ~~ Worked with Blue Rhino Design, Nunatsiavut Government officials, subject matter experts and an Inuit Advisory committee to develop the first Labrador Inuit cultural centre, in Nain, Labrador. The centre features Labrador Inuit history, tradition, skills, arts, stories, and cultural themes delivered in the voice of Labrador Inuit. Interpretive challenges included sensitively delivering difficult histories; maintaining an Inuit voice throughout; avoiding colonial interpretation; and adhering to Inuit cultural norms.
