It’s been a year since we sold our house in the suburbs and moved to downtown Toronto. In that year I’ve learned a lot about city living and have come to embrace what Toronto has to offer.
But recently I was reflecting, there were things I should have packed to bring here — things I couldn’t buy in the city or anywhere really.
For the convenience of those of you who might find yourselves in similar situations, I’ve made list for you:
1. Today’s Forecast – The one you can only receive out in the backyard, in your bare feet (or maybe in those old garden shoes by the back door), your first cup of coffee in hand: a daily open air assessment of shifting winds, damp promises of rain in the air, and clear notes of running meltwater announcing winter’s end.
